Description
The Oregon Department of Transportation’s Community Charging Rebates Program helps public and private entities purchase, install and maintain Level 2 electric vehicle chargers in Oregon. It supports charging at multifamily housing, workplaces and publicly accessible parking sites to address gaps in everyday charging access and encourage EV adoption.
The program prioritizes rural and predominantly low-income communities, reserving 70% of rebate funding for projects in those areas. Rebates are awarded first-come, first-served within priority and non-priority funding categories. ODOT works with Forth to provide outreach and technical assistance. The requirements and amounts below reflect the latest published guidelines; ODOT plans to issue new guidelines and rebate levels for the next round.
