Description
This grant, administered by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, is designed to help Minnesota employers and organizations of employers develop and expand dual-training programs that integrate structured on-the-job training with formal related instruction. The aim is to enable employees (dual trainees) to earn industry-recognized degrees, certificates, or credentials in key sectors including advanced manufacturing, agriculture, child care, health care services, information technology, legal cannabis, and transportation. The program supports workforce development by reimbursing employers for eligible training and support costs, fostering strategic partnerships between employers and training providers, and promoting equitable access to career advancement opportunities.
