--- ## Description The ECCO-IBUS Research Grant is jointly run by the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO) and the International Bowel Ultrasound Group (IBUS). It supports member investigators conducting clinical research on the utility of intestinal ultrasound in assessing patients with inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The programme aims to strengthen the scientific evidence supporting intestinal ultrasound and increase its acceptance as a cost-effective, well-tolerated and repeatable monitoring tool. Its focus reflects treatment targets extending beyond symptom control to healing visible through cross-sectional imaging.
