Key Information: At least one applicant must be both an NCTM (Essential or Premium) and TODOS member at the time of application.
This grant, jointly supported by TODOS: Mathematics for ALL and the NCTM Mathematics Education Trust (MET), provides funding for PK–12 schools to develop and implement professional learning projects that foster support for multilingual learners in mathematics. Projects must explicitly promote equitable and rigorous mathematics teaching that incorporates students' languages and cultures. Eligible activities include developing classroom materials with consultants who have expertise in both mathematics and language instruction, and/or purchasing materials for professional learning focused on supporting multilingual learners in mathematics. The goal is to help schools improve mathematics teaching practices by integrating linguistic and cultural diversity.
