Description
This scheme, jointly administered by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), aims to foster research collaboration between Hong Kong and Germany. It provides travel grants for researchers and research postgraduate (RPg) students, supporting one- or two-year collaborative projects. The focus is on enabling young research talent in Hong Kong to gain overseas training and experience through research visits to partner German institutions. The program encourages additional institutional or company funding and requires parallel application submissions in both Hong Kong and Germany.
