This scheme, jointly administered by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), funds collaborative research projects between Hong Kong and Germany. It provides travel grants for researchers and research postgraduate (RPg) students, supporting research visits and exchanges for one or two years. The scheme is designed to foster long-term academic cooperation, facilitate experience-sharing, and enhance training and international exposure for young researchers. From the 2026/27 cycle, involvement of RPg students is strongly encouraged and must be justified if not included.
