Description
This grant, offered by the American Chemical Society (ACS) Committee on Environment and Sustainability in partnership with the Local Section Activities Committee, is designed to encourage ACS local sections to create and deliver programming that raises awareness of chemistry’s contributions to sustainability. The grant supports a wide range of activities—such as lectures, Science Cafés, workshops, educational events, and community outreach—that foster dialogue about sustainability challenges in areas like energy, food security, and clean water. The goal is to mobilize the chemical community to address pressing global issues through sustainable solutions.
