This grant is designed to encourage and support collaborative research projects conducted by teams of PK–12 classroom teachers and college or university mathematics educators. The primary goal is to advance classroom-based research that addresses significant issues in mathematics education, such as curriculum development, instruction for diverse or at-risk students, students' mathematical thinking, interdisciplinary connections, innovative teaching or assessment strategies, and more. The research should be structured to produce findings suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed mathematics education journal.
