Description
Minnesota Job Skills Partnership (MJSP) Pre-Development grants cover costs associated with planning a specific, large-scale Partnership project. The MJSP Board offers the grants through the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). Planning is intended to help an accredited Minnesota training institution work with private Minnesota employers to understand employment needs, skills training, and education before developing a future Partnership grant proposal.
The proposed project must address education and skills training for high-wage, high-growth, and high-skill occupations, businesses, and industries. It should also develop significant new capacity at the training institution. Collaboration among training institutions and businesses is welcome. MJSP encourages efforts that reduce disparities and support rural businesses.
