The National Association of School Psychologists’ EDIJ Research Grants support research advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice in K–12 educational settings. Administered by the NASP Research Committee, the program supports graduate students, university researchers, and school practitioners. Projects must address the needs of historically marginalized students for whom traditional mainstream intervention and assessment strategies have been unsuccessful or overlooked.
Supported work may include student-focused interventions, school staff training, and system-level interventions. Research may test interventions or use secondary data analysis, qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, or action research approaches. Projects need clear timelines and expected outcomes aligned with NASP’s Social Justice strategic goal. A reciprocity plan must explain how researchers will sustain the project beyond the grant or communicate findings and implications effectively to the community contributing data.
