Description
The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens offers a comprehensive suite of fellowships for scholars, graduate students, independent researchers, and creative practitioners to engage deeply with its world-class collections. These fellowships support a range of research activities, from long-term residencies and academic-year projects to specialized short-term studies and international exchange opportunities. The program is designed to foster scholarship in the humanities, arts, history, and related fields, with particular emphasis on research that leverages The Huntington’s extensive archival, rare book, and art resources. Specialized fellowships are also available for projects in areas such as science fiction, Renaissance England, civil engineering, and East Asian garden studies, as well as for independent scholars and nontraditional researchers.
