Description
This grant, supported by the John Van de Walle Fund through the Mathematics Education Trust (MET) of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), provides funding for professional development projects designed to improve the mathematical competence and instructional skills of PK-5 classroom teachers. Proposals should focus on teacher learning, aiming to enhance both mathematical knowledge and teaching practices with the goal of positively impacting student learning. While technology-related professional development is encouraged, the primary emphasis must remain on teacher learning rather than equipment acquisition.
