The Fulbright Program is the flagship foreign exchange scholarship program of the United States of America, established in 1946 by Senator J. William Fulbright. Its primary aim is to increase binational research collaboration, cultural understanding, and exchange of ideas between countries. Operating in over 160 countries, the program has supported more than 370,000 students, academics, and professionals in studying, teaching, or conducting research.
