About Initiative Foundation
The Initiative Foundation is a regional community and economic development foundation serving Central Minnesota. Part of a network of Minnesota initiative foundations, it works to strengthen the economy, the environment, and the people of the region.
The foundation supports communities through grants to nonprofit organizations, business financing and loans, scholarships, and capacity-building programs that advance economic development, early childhood, workforce, and community vitality. Its blended approach pairs philanthropy with community and economic development tools.
