Women Divers Hall of Fame
Women Divers Hall of Fame (WDHOF) is a nonprofit tax-exempt 501C(3) volunteer-driven organization founded in 1999. The organization's primary mission is to recognize and honor the contributions of women pioneers, leaders, and innovators in various diving fields, including arts, sciences, diving and hyperbaric medicine, undersea exploration, underwater archaeology, media, business, marine and freshwater conservation, dive education and training, safety, underwater sports, free diving, military diving, and commercial diving. WDHOF aims to promote careers and opportunities for women in the diving community worldwide. The organization annually inducts new members who have made exceptional contributions to diving, with its inaugural roster in 2000 featuring 72 honorees. WDHOF supports the underwater world by providing grants, scholarships, internships, and mentoring, while maintaining a worldwide network of industry contacts.
