About 4Culture

4Culture is the cultural services agency for King County, Washington, and the greater Seattle region. As a public development authority, it reinvests a portion of county lodging-tax revenue into the local cultural sector, working to make funding more accessible, equitable, and reflective of the communities it serves.

The agency makes grants across arts and culture, heritage and history, historic preservation, and public art. Programs range from entry-level awards for individuals and groups new to 4Culture funding to sustained operating support for established organizations, generally judged on public benefit, feasibility, and advancing equity.

Many 4Culture opportunities accept applications on a rolling or annual basis and are open to nonprofit organizations, community groups, and individual artists across the county. Artists, cultural workers, and organizations can find current 4Culture grants, deadlines, and eligibility details on Atom.
