About American Academy of Neurology
The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) is the world largest professional association of neurologists and neuroscience professionals, dedicated to promoting the highest quality patient-centered neurologic care and advancing the science of neurology.
The Academy, often in partnership with the American Brain Foundation, supports research and the development of the neurology workforce through grants, fellowships, and career development awards. These opportunities help train clinician-scientists and fund research across the spectrum of neurological diseases and disorders.
Awards are made through competitive review and are generally aimed at residents, fellows, and early-career investigators, as well as established researchers in some programs. Neurologists, trainees, and researchers can find current AAN funding opportunities and deadlines on Atom.
