Foundation for Appalachian Ohio

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is a regional community foundation working to create opportunity and improve quality of life across the Appalachian counties of Ohio. It manages charitable funds and partners with donors and communities to address the region needs and aspirations.

The foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations and awards scholarships to students, supporting education, arts and culture, health, environment, and community and economic development. Its work focuses on building lasting assets and opportunity in a historically underserved region.
