National Lottery Community Fund
The National Lottery Community Fund is a distributor of National Lottery funding established as a non-departmental public body by an Act of Parliament. They distribute over £600m annually to communities across the UK, raised by players of The National Lottery. Their mission is to support communities by funding projects that transform lives and create opportunities. In 2023/2024, they funded a community project every 8 minutes and awarded over £686 million in grants. The organization works across England, Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland, with teams throughout the UK who help develop ideas and create opportunities for community groups. Their 2030 strategy focuses on making an even greater difference by starting with community needs and supporting local initiatives.
