Diabetes Research Connection
Diabetes Research Connection (DRC) is a San Diego-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that funds early-career scientists conducting novel, peer-reviewed research focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D). Through a donor-driven, crowdfunding model, DRC connects donors directly with promising researchers and awards up to $75,000 per approved project to support innovative work aimed at preventing, curing, and better managing T1D and its complications.
