About Health Resources and Services Administration

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services focused on improving access to health care for people who are geographically isolated or economically or medically vulnerable. It works to strengthen the health care safety net and workforce.

HRSA funds programs that support community health centers, the health workforce, maternal and child health, rural health, HIV/AIDS care, and organ and tissue donation, among other priorities. Its investments expand access to care and build the pipeline of health professionals in underserved areas.

Funding flows to states, health centers, universities, and nonprofit and community organizations through competitive and formula grants and cooperative agreements, with eligibility defined per program. Health organizations and agencies can find current HRSA opportunities and deadlines on Atom.
