Michigan Department of Transportation

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is a state government agency responsible for Michigan's transportation infrastructure. It manages nearly 10,000 miles of state highway system, which forms the backbone of Michigan's 120,000-mile highway, road, and street network.
