New Grant Search Features

Resources Hub, Deep Research Mode, and Personalized Recommendations

Finding the right grants takes time. With so many opportunities available but limited hours to research them all, you need tools that help you work smarter. We've just released three updates to Atom Grants that make discovering and pursuing funding more efficient.

Deep Research Mode: Better Accuracy for Complex Searches

deep

Standard searches often miss opportunities that could be perfect fits for your research. Our new Deep Research Mode uses more sophisticated matching to understand the connections between your work and available funding.

The system looks beyond basic matching to consider interdisciplinary connections, emerging research areas, and funding eligibility. For faculty members, this means fewer irrelevant results and more time to focus on promising opportunities. Administrators can use it to identify strategic funding alignments across different departments and better plan institutional resources.

Each recommendation now includes context about why it matches your profile. This helps researchers discover opportunities that fit their current projects and career goals, while giving administrators better visibility into funding trends and potential collaboration opportunities.

Redesigned "For You" Section: Smarter Recommendations

for you

We completely rebuilt the personalized recommendations to account for different types of funders. The new system recognizes that applying to federal agencies like NSF requires a different approach than pursuing industry partnerships or foundation grants.

New Resources Hub: Everything in One Place

The new Resources Hub brings together all our educational materials in a single location. Instead of hunting through different pages or your bookmarks, you'll find everything organized in one content library.

We've structured the resources by topic, so whether you're looking for a past webinar or a downloadable case study to share with your team, you can quickly find what you need. The hub includes templates, best practices, funding guides, and expert tips that previously lived in different corners of the platform.

Why These Changes Matter

These updates address common frustrations we've heard from users: too much time spent on administrative tasks, difficulty finding truly relevant opportunities, and lack of strategic context about funders. By centralizing resources, improving search accuracy, and providing better personalization, we're trying to reduce the time you spend searching and increase the time you can spend on actual research.

Getting Started

All three features are available now in your Atom Grants dashboard. If you're new to the platform, you can explore how these tools might fit into your funding strategy.

The grant landscape will always be competitive, but the right tools can help you navigate it more effectively.
