We're thrilled to announce that Raphael Bernier has joined Atom Grants as our new Head of Go-to-Market and Partnerships. With his unique blend of grant writing expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and startup leadership, Raphael brings exactly the perspective we need to help more organizations access the funding they deserve.

A Perfect Match

Raphael's journey to Atom Grants feels like it was meant to be. After spending five years mastering the art and science of grant writing, he's supported research and development initiatives across various sectors, worked with international funders, and helped countless teams scale their impact through strategic grant acquisition. His deep understanding of the funding landscape, combined with his hands-on experience navigating complex grant processes, gives him invaluable insight into the challenges our users face every day.

As a founder for the past decade, Raphael has been in the trenches of startup life, focusing on helping early-stage companies successfully bring their products and services to market. This entrepreneurial background means he understands both sides of the equation: the urgency of securing funding and the importance of sustainable growth strategies.

Innovation at the Core

What drives Raphael is his passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and entrepreneurship. He's energized by the potential of new solutions to solve old problems, and he sees Atom Grants as a prime example of how technology can level the playing field for organizations seeking funding. His enthusiasm for finding creative approaches to traditional challenges will be invaluable as we continue to expand our platform and partnerships.

Beyond the Office

When Raphael isn't thinking about go-to-market strategies or partnership opportunities, you'll likely find him scaling boulder problems at the local climbing gym or calling plays as quarterback for his flag football team. Both pursuits reflect his strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style – whether he's plotting the best route up a challenging climb or reading the field to connect with his receivers.

What's Next

In his new role, Raphael will be leading our efforts to bring Atom Grants to more organizations that need funding support, while also building strategic partnerships that expand our impact. His experience working with international funders will be particularly valuable as we explore opportunities to help organizations access funding sources beyond traditional boundaries.

We're excited to have Raphael on board and look forward to the fresh perspectives and strategic insights he'll bring to our team. His combination of technical grant writing expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and genuine passion for helping organizations succeed makes him the perfect addition to drive our growth and partnerships forward.

Welcome to the team, Raphael! We can't wait to see what we'll accomplish together.
