Your profile holds the account details that identify you across Atom, along with your preferences for how the app works. It is separate from your research profile, the AI-built picture of your work that drives grant matching and eligibility.

Your details

Set your name, job title, and department. Your department places you in your institution's structure, which powers admin reporting and helps colleagues find people working in related areas. Your email is tied to your account and cannot be changed here.

Preferences and advanced settings

From the same place, you control how Atom communicates with you and how the app behaves:

• Notifications and email, including how often you receive new grant matches and what you are alerted to in proposals. See settings and notifications for the full list.
• Incognito Mode, which hides your profile and activity from your research administrators.
• High contrast mode, for improved readability.
