Proposals

The AI guide

When you add a proposal, Atom reads the entire solicitation, fetches its sources, and builds your guide. This takes a few minutes, and the result is the hub for your whole application.

An auto-generated proposal guide with required documents and key details
The guide breaks the solicitation into required documents and key details, each linked to its source.

What the guide contains

  • Required documents are the heart of the guide. For each one, Atom summarizes the requirements, flags compliance notes, lists the content you need to include, and links directly to where it was found in the solicitation.
  • The essentials at a glance: eligibility, key dates, budget, review criteria, formatting, and submission guidelines, each linked back to its source.
  • Prerequisites for federal grants list the registrations your team needs, such as eRA Commons, SAM.gov, and Grants.gov, with typical lead times, so you can start the slow ones early.

Make it yours

The guide is fully customizable. Edit any section, add your own, or remove what you do not need. You can also share the guide by email with a teammate or an external partner, so they can see the plan without opening the full proposal. Administrators can set group documents so every proposal in your organization starts with the documents your office requires.

Treat the guide as your single source of truth. Instead of rereading a PDF every time you have a question, you and your collaborators work from one clear plan.

Next, assign documents and run reviews.
