Your notification settings control how and when Atom keeps you in the loop by email. Manage your account details and advanced settings on your profile.

Email digests

Choose how often you receive new grant matches by email: weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. Digests bring opportunities to your inbox without you having to check the dashboard. A digest is only sent when there are strong matches, so a quiet week means no email. After a long quiet stretch you may get an occasional message showing your current research interests with a link to update them.

You can also turn on other emails: Grant updates, a daily digest when a grant you have favorited or have a proposal for changes, and, for administrators, a daily digest of new limited submission opportunities.

When a proposal is linked to a grant, everyone active on the proposal team, including invited guests, gets grant updates for it even if they have not favorited the grant. Those cards name the proposal, and their View Proposal button opens it, while the grant title still opens the grant. A grant you have both favorited and have a proposal for appears once, and you get at most one grant updates email a day. Turning off Grant updates stops these too.

Proposal notifications

Manage what you are notified about in proposals, such as mentions and activity on the proposals you are part of. Choose whether to hear about just your own activity or everything on a proposal, and how often you are emailed: immediately, hourly, or daily. Administrators can also be notified whenever someone in the group starts a new proposal.
