Collaborators

Finding collaborators

The same search that covers your faculty reaches into a graph of more than a million researchers indexed from across the research community, so you can find complementary co-PIs anywhere.

Co-PI suggestions on every grant

On multi-PI and interdisciplinary grants, Atom surfaces complementary co-PIs ranked by how well their expertise overlaps with the opportunity, not by org-chart proximity. Researchers from your institution and from outside it appear side by side.

Ranked co-PI matches showing internal and external researchers
Co-PI suggestions ranked by topical overlap, each tagged Internal or External.

Internal and external, side by side

Every match is tagged Internal or External, so you know at a glance who is already at your institution and who you would reach out to elsewhere. Each suggestion shows the topic overlap that produced it, so you can see why a match was made.

Public profiles are built only from public signals. Anything you add privately to your own Atom account, such as draft aims or internal notes, stays private to you and your team and never appears in the public profile other institutions can search.
