Collaborators

Overview

Collaborators helps you find the right people for a grant and bring them onto your team. It is the connective tissue between Discovery and Proposals: Discovery surfaces the right grant, Collaborators assembles the right team, and Proposals turns it into a submission.

The Atom collaborators directory with ranked researcher matches
Every researcher, internal and external, searchable by expertise.

More than a faculty directory

Atom auto-builds a profile for every researcher, your own faculty and the wider research community alike, and makes both searchable by expertise. The right teammates surface exactly when an opportunity needs them, whether they are down the hall or at another university.

How it works

There are three parts to Collaborators:

  1. Your faculty directory makes everyone at your institution searchable by expertise, with no faculty setup.
  2. Finding collaborators extends that search across institutions to surface complementary co-PIs.
  3. Building your team brings the people you find into a shared grant workspace.

Profiles are built from public signals, so admins and grant developers can search across the whole institution, and the external graph, without waiting for anyone to create an account.
